From the darkness of the night, a tower of light. Symmetry comes into play by spiting the picture of the lights right down the center of the pole (ignoring the broken lamp).

Here is a football game... A faint example of the rule of thirds applies. You can see the background is somewhat blurred as well the very very front, giving a somewhat 3D look.
